Co-Founder/Outsourced CFO
Rhonda is a certified public accountant with deep expertise in nonprofit and higher education financial management, audit, and consulting. She is recognized for her ability to deliver clarity and actionable financial insights, empowering organizations to strengthen their operational frameworks and achieve long-term sustainability.
Rhonda’s career spans pivotal finance leadership roles with mission-driven organizations, including Christian colleges and nonprofits. She specializes in developing robust financial processes, grant management, strategic fundraising, and budget optimization—helping clients fulfill their missions with confidence. Her approach blends advanced technology and human-centered advisory, reflecting her commitment to innovation and ethical leadership.
At Devan Consulting, Rhonda leads a team focused on transforming accounting from compliance to strategic advisory, integrating cloud platforms, automation, and AI to enhance efficiency and decision-making. She is known for building collaborative partnerships, offering training and mentorship, and guiding organizations through complex financial challenges with integrity and care.
Rhonda holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Roberts Wesleyan University and a Master’s in Education, as well as a post-Master’s degree in School Business Administration from SUNY Brockport. Active in her community, she empowers women and serves on nonprofit boards. Rhonda lives in Asheville, NC with her family and is dedicated to supporting the next generation of leaders in accounting and finance.
